Michigan Central Station has always been an iconic part of Detroit, but to some, the building had become the unofficial symbol of the city’s decline. So when Ford announced its plan to purchase and restore the building, we wanted to celebrate the vibrancy of the surrounding Corktown community that had, in fact, never left.
